Landscape Design & Installation in Medford, OR
Front-yard refreshes, full backyard renovations, and new-construction landscapes planned for Southern Oregon’s climate and built by one crew.
From a tired yard to a finished landscape
Most of the yards we start with look the same: patchy lawn, overgrown shrubs, bare dirt where something used to be, and a sprinkler system nobody trusts. More Life takes that blank slate and installs a complete landscape, grading, soil, planting, mulch, rock, edging, and irrigation, so the yard looks finished the day we leave and grows into itself over the next few seasons.
We are not a design-only firm that hands you a drawing. Jose lays out the plan with you on site, prices it, and the same crew builds it. Homeowners in Medford, Jacksonville, and Central Point tell us the best part is that nothing gets lost between the idea and the install.

Plants that actually survive here
The Rogue Valley is USDA zone 8a to 8b with hot, dry summers and wet, occasionally freezing winters. We lean on plants that handle both: lavender, rosemary, manzanita, Japanese maple, crape myrtle, ornamental grasses, and native shrubs. Where you want a lawn, we install it right, and where you don’t, we can shift the yard toward water-wise planting.
Irrigation and drainage are part of the job
A landscape without working irrigation dies by August. We install or reorganize sprinkler zones so lawn and beds get what they need, add drip lines to planting areas, and put in French drains where winter water pools. Several of our reviews mention a reworked irrigation system because it is something we fix on nearly every renovation.
“Jose and his team worked efficiently and timely to revamp my front yard that desperately needed help. The finished product looks as different as night and day. I am so glad I found their business online and will not hesitate to hire them again.”
“He was quick to respond and come out the next day to view and give a written offer. He was attentive to our request and set a date within 7 days. Within 2 1/2 days the job was completed! We highly recommend More Life for value and quality of a job well done!”

Landscape Design & Install Questions
Question 1Do you do landscape design, or just installation?
Both, in a practical way. Jose plans the layout, materials, and plant list with you on site and prices it as one package. If you already have a plan from a designer or architect, we are happy to build from it.
Question 2What is the best time of year to install a landscape in Medford?
Fall and early spring are ideal for planting because roots establish before summer heat. Hardscape, irrigation, and drainage work can happen almost year-round. We work through the summer too, we just water new plantings carefully.
Question 3Can you remove my old lawn and start over?
Yes. We strip sod, remove dead material and old bark, regrade, bring in topsoil, and rebuild from the ground up. Demo and haul-away is included in the quote.
Question 4Do you fix existing sprinkler systems?
We do. On most renovations we reorganize zones, replace broken heads and valves, and add drip to beds. We can also install a new controller if yours is unreliable.
